OPEN DAY AT THE ISS 

 

The Icelandic Space Station serves as a research laboratory intended to preserve

Iceland's cultural heritage from man-made or natural disaster. Crew members conduct

experiments in biology, cultural studies, physics, geology, meteorology and other

fields.
